Atlanta HVAC Contractor Hosting March Madness-Themed Contest on Social Media
Contest Will Run the Duration of March Madness
ATLANTA — To celebrate the NCAA March Madness tournament, Bardi Heating, Cooling and Plumbing is now hosting a themed contest open to the public on its social media sites. The contest will run the duration of March Madness and the grand prize winner will be announced following the final game on April 7, 2014. There is no purchase necessary to enter and contestants will not create or bet on specific brackets.
Bardi’s social media profiles on Facebook, Twitter and Google+ feature a cover photo that displays eight technicians as basketball players in comical, bobble-head fashion. Technicians include Alex Bond, Chad English, Chad Phillips, Charles Thibodeaux, Corey Davis, Jason Fisher, Jeramy Trammell, and Jonathan Ward. The technicians are not official basketball players and do not represent any team participating in March Madness nor a specific bracket.
To enter the contest, contestants simply submit the name of one of the featured technicians with the custom hashtag #BardiMadness on Bardi’s Facebook page, Google+ profile, or by tweeting the technician’s name directly to Bardi (@bardiHVAC) on Twitter. Bardi is hosting an internal competition for the technicians as well. The final winning technician in the internal contest will determine the social media contest winner. Those who voted for the winning technician will be grouped together as finalists and the grand prize winner will be chosen from that group at random.
There is no purchase necessary to enter. The social media contest does not determine brackets or post winners of the NCAA basketball games. The grand prize winner of the social media contest will receive a $150 pre-paid credit card gift card and a germicidal UV light ($800 value). Both prizes are provided by Bardi Heating, Cooling and Plumbing and are not associated with the internal company contest for technicians.
“This contest is a first for Bardi and we’re really excited about it and even more excited to see the engagement from the social media fan base,” said Gresham Ard, residential general manager.
