The RoofPak pool dehumidification system is an all-in-one unit that includes an integral air-cooled condenser and choice of integral gas furnace or electric heater. Available in 10- and 12-ton models, the dehumidifier is ideal for facilities having popular pool sizes with surface areas between 1,200-2,500 square feet, said the company. The built-in air-cooled condenser eliminates field piping while reducing the refrigerant charge. Two indirect gas furnace options are available: 200 or 240 MBtuh. An electric heater in 20 or 30 kW can be specified. A hot water coil using the Hycor Blue coil or optional all-copper or Electro-Guard coils is available. The unit is available with a Remote Access Package (RAP) that allows system access by way of the Internet. The controller is adaptable to building automation systems, including BACnet — master-slave/token-passing (MS/TP) and Internet protocol (IP) — LonWorks, and Modbus.
