LUDECA has added two new models — the EDDYTHERM Portable and the EDDYTHERM 2x — to its line of induction heaters for shrink-fitting of bearings. Both the EDDYTHERM Portable and EDDYTHERM 2x allow precise setting of time and temperature to prevent premature bearing failures due to an improper or overheating installation. A magnetic temperature probe continuously measures and displays actual temperature, while a standby feature permits holding temperature at a pre-set level.
