On behalf of Scotsman Ice Systems, Scotsman Industries has donated $10,000 to support A Legacy for Learning Corp.’s scholarship program. The program provides tuition for unemployed and underemployed military veterans to enroll in a fast-track basic technician training program in commercial foodservice equipment repair.

“It is an honor to work with Scotsman Industries and Scotsman Ice Systems to help those who have sacrificed for our country,” said Carol Multack, president and CEO of A Legacy for Learning Corp. “Through this donation, we can further provide veterans with employment training and opportunities.”

A Legacy for Learning Corp. was established in 2012 and has more than 1,000 partnering organizations that recruit, train, and employ veterans throughout the United States.
