“NATE is pleased to partner with our friends at APR Supply Co. and hope technicians from far and wide take advantage of the opportunity to take the NATE exam this September,” said NATE COO John Lanier.
Candidates can earn installation and/or service certification in 11 specialty areas: air conditioning, air distribution, heat pumps, gas heating, oil heating, hydronics gas, hydronics oil, commercial refrigeration, light commercial refrigeration, ground-source heat pump, and senior efficiency analyst.
“Organizations like NATE continue to demonstrate their increasing influence on contractors’ excellence throughout our industry,” said Ryan Kiscaden, APR Supply Co. business development manager. “We are proud and honored to continue to support our industry brethren’s initiatives.”
Earlier in the day, technicians can prepare for the exams by attending a four-hour course, hosted by APR Supply Co., from 8 a.m. to noon, led by 38-year HVACR veteran Eddie Howell, APR Supply technical services advisor group manager. Technicians can choose to take the NATE Core and/or a NATE specialty exam for $125 each.
