Virtually silent, the line of MFT-S mixed flow in-line fans feature a specially designed housing that is optimized with an aerodynamic diffuser and specially designed impeller, which produces powerful pressure and airflow. The fans are available in 4-, 5-, and 6-inch duct diameters and are ideally suited for either supply or exhaust ventilation systems, said the company. The fans’ airflow capacities reach up to 327 cfm. Features include energy-efficient two-speed motor; UV and corrosive-resistant plastic housing; and easy access to motor and impeller, so there’s no need to dismantle duct-work. The fans have automatic reset thermal overload protection; single-phase asynchronous motor, IPX4 protection; permanently lubricated ball-bearing motor for maintenance-free operation; and optional prewired with 120-V power cord and solid state speed control (MFT-C).
