Congressman Talks Energy with Danfoss

Discusses Legislation to Advance Energy-Efficient and Renewable Energy Technologies

U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger, congressman for the 16th Congressional District in Illinois, recently visited the Danfoss plant in Loves Park, Ill., within his district.

The congressman met with officials of the plant as well as the media and toured the facility, which makes variable-frequency drives used in HVAC, as well as for wastewater treatment and industrial applications.

Danfoss officials said one aspect of the event was to discuss legislation to advance energy-efficient and renewable energy technologies, and how such legislation can have a positive impact on local and national economies.
