Congressman Meets HVAC Contractor
Rep. Jim Gerlach, R-Pa., (center) recently visited DiFilippo’s Service Co. in Paoli, Pa., to better understand the concerns of small-business owners in his district. Rep. Gerlach, a six-term representative, is a member of the House Ways and Means Committee.
The meeting covered a range of topics concerning HVAC contractors, including ways Congress can simplify the tax code, uncertainty about the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, frustration with the federal government’s lack of a budget, tax incentives for the small-businesses investment, the residential-energy tax credits, and more.
