Ductless Split Systems Shipments Increase
MISSISSAUGA, Ontario — The manufacturing division of the Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) reports that ductless split systems shipments were up 30 percent in the fourth-quarter of 2011 when compared to 2010.
Other sectors showing increases included unit heater shipments, up 15 percent; residential air conditioning shipments, 14 percent; and residential furnace shipments, 11 percent. Chillers shipments decreased 39 percent and commercial air conditioning units fell 6 percent.
