Miller-Leaman’s fully automatic, self-cleaning Turbo-Disc Filter side-stream skid system is designed to remove particulate and other contaminants from cooling water, says the manufacturer. The system includes a pump on a stainless steel skid and uses substantially less backwash water than sand filters, resulting in significant water savings. An onboard controller monitors the differential-pressure across the filter, triggering an automatic backwash when dirty.
