COURSE DESCRIPTION:This week-long event includes classroom instruction, field training, and Building Performance Institute Building Analyst certification testing. Topics in the classroom training portion include principles of energy and building science; the energy audit process; building shell and thermal envelope; building systems: HVAC, lighting, appliances, and domestic hot water; and blower door testing. The field training applies the fundamental principles learned in the classroom to an actual residential home. Students will go on location and be taught how to identify common residential problems, including mold and moisture, gas leaks, CO, and inefficiencies in building

COURSE TITLE:Effective Dispatch Management

COURSE DESCRIPTION:Dispatcher students will learn the required skills to execute weekly scheduling and day-to-day dispatching functions and the importance of the dispatcher to a successful service operation. The class will help students with the tools needed for excellent customer relations. Other topics covered include frontline tactics for excellent communications, questioning and listening for results, and problem solving and conflict
