NORMAN, Okla. - Coleman® Heating and Air Conditioning announced that Century Air Conditioning Supply, Houston, has signed an agreement to sell Coleman brand residential and light-commercial HVAC equipment in the north Texas market.

Century AC Supply will serve Coleman dealers in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area from branch offices in Dallas and Richardson previously operated by Johnson Air Conditioning Supply. Founded in 1973, Century AC Supply is a wholesale distributor of equipment, parts, and supplies for the HVAC industry. The privately owned and operated company has 16 locations throughout Texas.

“Adding the Coleman line provides us with a quality brand of equipment to sell in the Dallas/Ft. Worth market,” said Jess Mattox, vice president of sales at Century AC Supply. “The brand brings with it the Coleman reputation for rugged dependability that complements the Century AC reputation for consistently delivering reliable products and outstanding customer service.”

According to Todd Shadden, Century AC North Texas manager, “The brand recognition associated with Coleman equipment is already impacting our business in a positive way. In the short time since we began offering the Coleman line, we’ve generated a great deal of interest in the products Coleman offers, probably as a result of strong brand recognition. We’re anticipating increased equipment sales through both the Dallas and Richardson branches.”

Howard Wilson, Coleman regional sales manager, emphasized that the partnership is a win-win situation for both Century AC and the Coleman brand.

“The real significance for us is the opportunity this new partnership provides to align the Coleman brand with a premier distributor in the north Texas market,” he said. “Century AC Supply is a customer-focused company that continues to experience good growth while delivering the reliable, dependable solutions and courteous customer service that the Coleman brand represents.”
