The Luxaire® 33-inch Acclimate™ modulating gas furnace is a fully modulating 80 percent offering that features an integrated control. The unit also features a multi-position design and an airflow leakage rate that is less than one percent. Its quiet operation is measured as low as 61 decibels (dB) for models with an 80 percent AFUE rating and 65 dB for models with 95 percent AFUE. All condensing models are 95 percent efficient and are Energy Star® qualified. Components are encased in a smaller cabinet that is seven inches shorter than previous models. The multi-position design of the 33-inch units provides flexibility for all installations and applications, including upflow, downflow, horizontal left, and horizontal right, all in one model. Multiple venting options are also available. All sheet metal is folded and flattened eliminating the sharp edges. The Acclimate model also includes 1/4-turn latches for service access door removal.
