The Tigar (total integrated gauge analogue response ) MiC is a pure mechanical analog deep vacuum micron gauge that measures vacuum directly. It is classified as a diaphragm aneroid gauge which utilizes a series of metallic capsules that translate pressures below atmospheric pressure conditions to a gear and pinion transmission resulting in an analog needle point display. The gauge has been specifically designed for the HVACR field technician as a practical method of ensuring that a refrigeration system has reached a deep vacuum state. It also serves as an accurate indication of micro and macro system leaks because of the gauge’s ability to react to internal rising and decreasing pressure conditions with a slow, smooth sweeping action of the needle pointer across a color-coded micron scale. The vacuum gauge requires no warm up time allowing it to be used at atmospheric startup conditions. It doesn’t require regular calibration or and need little or no maintenance.
