A new generation Multi-Split product line for the residential and light commercial markets is available. This version of the product offers a two- or a four-port condensing unit platform. The two-port Multi-Split is able to serve two rooms (zones) by using either the CTXS09GVJU (wall-mounted, ducted) and/or FDXS09DVJU (slim duct) indoor units. The four-port Multi-Split can be combined to serve two, three, or four rooms, and can use wall-mount and/or slim duct units. The product line is rated at a SEER level of up to 19.5 and HSPF ratings up to 9.6. The Intelligent Eye is able to set back the temperature automatically when nobody is detected in the room (wall mounts only). The long piping length as well as all flare connections allow for extra installation flexibility (230 feet maximum combined piping length). The systems utilize the manufacturer’s inverter technology and R-410A refrigerant.
