Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008: DuPont Urges Contractors to Move Away From R-22
NEW YORK - Diane Picho, global business manager for DuPont, was one of the speakers during the company’s press briefing at the AHR Expo. She urged contractors to continue to move away from the use of R-22 refrigerant. For new equipment, she encouraged the use of R-410A equipment for air conditioning applications. For the retrofit of existing R-22 equipment, she suggested using DuPont ISCEON® refrigerants.
