The patent-pending Avtec EcoArch kitchen exhaust hood is an energy-efficient food service kitchen ventilation system. According to the company, the system is designed to use significantly less exhausted air volume rates than other ventilation systems, which translates into an annual electric and/or gas savings of up to 40 percent of conditioned kitchen make-up air. The aerodynamic arch design reduces the amount of exhausted conditioned air from the kitchen. Features include a high-velocity exhaust slot and a mounted exhaust plenum, which provides for easier and safer access to filters.
