The synchronous ball valve (SBV) is a quiet zone valve that combines a synchronous motor-style actuator with the high close-off pressures and shutdown properties of a ball valve. The valves come in three sizes: a 1/2-, 3/4-, and 1-inch sweat. They have a maximum operating pressure of 300 psi and a close-off pressure of 125 psi.
