Monday, Jan. 29, 2007: AAF Shows New Cartridge Filter
DALLAS - AAF International
is introducing its DuraShield™
Cartridge Filter. The DuraShield Media used in the cartridge filter is a
proprietary high-strength, polyester reinforced media with a fluorocarbon
meltblown outer surface layer that allows AAF to offer a high-efficiency
Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value (MERV) 15 for this type of cartridge filter.
AAF designed DuraShield as
a surface-loading media that achieves optimum particulate release during pulse
cleaning. The synthetic fibers used throughout the media have been developed
not to disintegrate, unlike some surface-bonded media, in order to withstand
the rigors of repeated pulse cleaning cycles. These features are coupled
with low initial pressure drop and high moisture resistance.
I want to hear from you. Tell me how we can improve.
