According to the company, the acquisition will give refrigerant customers access to additional sustainable refrigerant solutions to help accelerate the reduction of ozone depleting substances.
"Completing this transaction to acquire the Isceon blends is an excellent example of how we are bringing more sustainable cooling and environmental solutions to our global customer base," said Mark Baunchalk, global business manager-refrigerants, DuPont Fluorochemicals.

DuPont Refrigerants will assume sales responsibility for such mineral oil-compatible HFC refrigerant blends as:
Also, DuPont will assume sales responsibility for Isceon 69 (R-403B), an HCFC replacement for R-502 in stationary refrigeration.
