The newly formed team will be led by James ‘Woody’ Woodruff who was recently promoted to Vice President of Commercial Business and is a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team.
Equipped with an Oilon LN30 ultra-low NOx burner and Nationwide’s Eagle PLC-based Control System, the 250 hp package boiler achieved average emissions performance of 5 ppm NOx and 0 ppm CO (corrected to 3% O2) during third-party testing.
According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, heating accounts for roughly one-third of the total energy consumption in U.S. commercial buildings, with boilers supplying heat to about 33 percent of total floor space. Keeping these boilers operating at peak performance is the goal of most commercial building owners and managers, who typically want to minimize energy costs and maximize comfort.
HVAC systems in commercial buildings consume a lot of energy, which is why many building owners and managers are looking at replacing their older, inefficient equipment with new high-performing systems.
White House chief of staff, Reince Priebus, issued a memorandum declaring a government-wide freeze on new or pending regulations. The HVAC industry has generally reacted positively to this news, feeling that this freeze gives HVAC organizations more time to explain to the administration why these regulations should not be published.
This boiler offers 2.5- to 5-MMBtuh input capacity. It features a heat exchanger with a double row of swept fins and includes the Smart Touch Control™ and CON·X·US® remote connect.
With automatic sequencing, both boilers operate at the lowest rate to optimize efficiencies

With failing boilers and an inefficient heating system, historic Zion Episcopal Church in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, needed guidance and help. New, high-efficiency condensing boilers from Weil-McLain provided the answer to solve their heating woes.
The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) is calling on the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to follow its own procedures when promulgating rules, and is seeking suspension of a current rulemaking for revising commercial boiler efficiency standards until its established process is followed.
