Location, Location, Location
I have to agree that the invention of a/c has caused our problems with the government.
[Thomas] Jefferson and friends deliberately placed the seat of government in D.C., primarily for the reason that it is a humid, malaria-infested swamp. Why? To ensure we did not have year-round career politicians!
Too bad they did not foresee the advent of mechanical cooling and place the seat of government somewhere like the Arctic Circle.

As long as you can avoid finance charges by dutifully paying the full credit card balance on time every month, you can get 1-3 percent cash back. Every little bit helps.
