Whirlpool Corp. is increasing its commitment to environmentally-sound business practices by introducing a goal to reduce total greenhouse gas emissions 6.6 percent by 2012. Whirlpool intends to make these global, voluntary reductions while simultaneously increasing production by 17 percent.

Nomaco Insulation and L’Isolante K-Flex announced the separation of the joint-venture partnership in Nomaco K-Flex, a U.S. manufacturer of elastomeric pipe insulation products. Milan-based L’Isolante K-Flex has purchased Nomaco’s interest in Nomaco K-Flex and will change the name of the company to K-Flex USA.
Colmac Coil Manufacturing promoted Joe Fazzari to vice president. In addition to managing the company’s sales and marketing departments, Fazzari handles strategic planning processes, business development, and is responsible for new product selection for the company.
Embraco will be an exhibitor at HVAC&R 2008, an Asian business fair for refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation, to be held Feb. 12-15, in Tokyo.
