The every other year conferences on compressors and refrigeration/air conditioning at Purdue University are getting a green companion. Purdue has announced that the 1st International High Performance & Green Buildings Conference will take place at the same time as the other two conferences on July 12-15, 2010.
The Heat Exchange Institute (HEI) formed a new HEI Air Cooled Condenser Section. The Air Cooled Condenser Section became part of HEI in 2009 and is currently working on the development of an air cooled condenser standard. It anticipates releasing the new standard sometime in late 2010.
