Friedrich Air Conditioning Co. has named Adrian Stasiuk as the company’s new vice president of sales and a key member of Friedrich’s executive management team.

In this role, Stasiuk will lead all aspects of the company’s international sales organization and drive strategies to continue Friedrich’s sales growth for the company.

Motion Industries, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company, announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Axis New England and Axis New York, an automation and robotics company based in Danvers, Massachusetts. Execution of the transaction will occur on March 1, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

The Chemours Company, a global chemistry company, today announced the startup of the new Opteon YF (HFO-1234yf) low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerant production facility at its Corpus Christi manufacturing plant in Ingleside, Texas. This facility will enable Chemours to triple the global capacity of its hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) 1234yf-based products to meet increasing market demands for more environmentally sustainable refrigerants and blends.

BlueVolt, in cooperation with market research firm Cascade Insights, has released the second edition of its “Voice of the E-Learner” survey, which asked 1,327 workers from manufacturers and distributors in the electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and industrial tools industries about their perceptions of online learning.
