The Food Marketing Institute (FMI) Connect event showcased some of the newest products that those who work in the food sector will more than likely see on a future install or service call.

The NEWS asked a few individuals at a recent refrigeration trade expo — and a few others in the industry — to do a bit of fortune telling regarding what the next generation of coils may look like.

The industry has been coping with this form of coil corrosion for decades and is making strides in the battle against it.

The Pan Saver by RGF® is a condensate pan microbial reduction unit designed to eliminate microbial growth in HVAC system condensate pans and drain lines. 

As familiar as condensing units are in refrigeration systems, these components are undergoing major changes. Several of those changes are being demonstrated in a number of practical applications nationwide. 

Designed specifically for refrigeration applications where reliable cooling is required under varying loads and operating conditions, the Generation III outdoor air-cooled condensing units contain one of the manufacturer’s compressors built to handle the rigors of commercial refrigeration.
