The HERO (home energy renovation opportunity) financing program allows homeowners in Western Riverside County to finance home energy and water efficiency improvements through their property taxes. It was announced that $50 million in home energy retrofits have been financed since the program was launched.

Long-time Austin, Texas-area heating and air conditioning contractor, Chris Strand, has acquired Stan’s Heating & Air Conditioning, an Austin company formerly owned by Stan Johnson. Strand founded Strand Brothers Heating & Air Conditioning in 1978, and later sold the business to Service Experts.
