The Boeing Company has seen an increase in demand for parts for its line of Comanche helicopters. This increased production required the relocation and renovation of the manufacturing facility at Boeing's Ridley Park Plant; the renovation included a new HVAC system for this security-sensitive building. The job went to mechanical contractor JJ White Inc. of Philadelphia.

HRAI Requests Harmonization Of A/C SEER Rating

July 2, 2004
The Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) has written to the federal Office of Energy Efficiency (OEE) requesting that the federal energy efficiency regulation be revised to harmonize with the recent decision in the U.S. to move to a 13 SEER minimum for residential air conditioning and heat pump equipment by January 2006.
