Radiant Heat Eliminates Condensation for New Museum

SSHC, Inc. announced that the new Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston has installed the company’s ENERJOY® Radiant Heatmodules to prevent condensation issues. The radiant panels are installed near the skylights of the museum and work with a control system that senses condensation.

Liquid Desiccant Cooling and Dehumidification Cuts Energy Costs

September 21, 2009
Duty Free Americas Inc. reduced warehouse electricity costs 25 percent and eliminated moisture-related damages to goods by installing DuCool’s desiccant cooling and dehumidification systems. The installation made it possible to maintain constant conditions of 76°F and 52 percent relative humidity even in the hot Miami summer.

NORESCO Selected for $14 Million Performance Contract

July 13, 2009
NORESCO, a subsidiary of Carrier Corp., was selected by the Nevada Department of Corrections (NDOC) to implement a guaranteed energy savings agreement worth $14 million. Structured as a performance contract, the project will enable the state to implement facility improvements at four sites.

Stevens Institute of Technology Installs CHP System, Natural Gas Chiller

American DG Energy Inc. is supplying clean electricity, heating, and cooling to Stevens Institute of Technology via a combined heat and power (CHP) system and natural gas engine driven chiller, which are owned and operated by American DG Energy. Stevens pays only for the energy it uses and avoids all capital, installation, and operating costs.
