Mohegan Sun Pocono will install a combined heat and power (CHP) system which will provide a reliable, energy-efficient source for heating and electric power and reduce the facility’s primary energy consumption. Installation of the system by UGI HVAC Enterprises is anticipated to begin in March and be operational by fall 2016.

Ilios Dynamics Inc., a subsidiary of Tecogen® Inc., announced the sale of two HEWH-500-WS natural gas engine-driven heat pump modules to construction services firm CFLane. The modules will be installed at the firm’s Atlanta headquarters and will generate nearly 1 million Btuh of heat and over 40 tons of cooling for the facility.
