Making a Case for Underfloor Air Distribution Systems

Underfloor air distribution (UAD) systems are gaining in popularity. In 1995, less than 3 percent of new office buildings had raised floors, with UAD being a fringe element. By 1999, 8 percent had raised floors, 20-25 percent with UAD. By 2002, 12-15 percent had raised floors, with approximately 40 percent having UAD.
