Mammoth has launched a new water source heat pump line, HydroBank MS, designed specifically for developer, new construction and replacement markets where compact design and a low first cost are primary considerations.

Daniel Ellis, president of geothermal and water-source heat pump manufacturer ClimateMaster, was presented with the Rittinger Medal at the 11th International Energy Agency (IEA) Heat Pump Conference in Montreal.

ClimateMaster featured its Tranquility® Vertical Stack (TSM) Series water-source heat pump units, offering simple, cost-effective installation combined with one of the industry’s highest energy performance ratings in the vertical stack product category. 

The renovation focused on restoring existing historical elements, while also improving overall energy efficiency and reducing waste. 

Islandaire EZ Series HZ is a high-efficiency ceiling hung water-source heat pump with low condenser water consumption. This product is focused on reducing the construction price and operational cost of the air conditioning system. 

Islandaire EZ Series 816 (V8) is a vertical stacked water-source heat pump that is used in new construction projects and is a direct replacement for California Heat Pump CHP – RF and ClimateMaster 816.

Carrier has signed an agreement with Robert Bosch North America Corp. to form a joint venture to develop and manufacture geothermal and water-source heat pumps for the North American residential and commercial markets. 

Mechanical contracting firm TAG Mechanical Systems Inc. announced that it provided HVAC mechanical systems and a 54 kW solar photovoltaic (PV) system for the Skaneateles Village Hall in Skaneateles, N.Y. The facility is the first municipal net-zero energy building in New York State.

The MicroTech® Integrated System for water-source heat pump applications provides smart controls, high performance, and installation as easy as plug-and-play, the company said. It is a complete system in the small building market, integrating pumps, towers, boilers, and ventilation air with a water-source heat pump.
