Armstrong Fluid Technology discussed several new products and a desire to enter the building performance management sector during an evening press conference that brought the first day of the 2017 AHR Expo to a close.
This retrofit unit allows building owners to replace the moving parts of an installed Armstrong constant-speed pump while retaining the existing pump casing, insulation, and piping.
This product offers high flow capacity and eight optional control modes. It also features a threaded union connection that is easy to adapt to copper, PEX, or chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) plumbing.

Since the introduction of the Energy Savings Dashboard, Armstrong Design Envelope HVAC solutions have saved customers more than 630 million kWh of energy, representing a carbon emission savings of more than 212,000 tons of CO2 and a cost saving of more than $60 million.
The manufacturer held 10 events in the U.S. and Canada last year. They were so successful that Armstrong expanded its scope in 2015 to include international locations such as Mumbai, India; and Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
