NH Yates and Co., a leading manufacturer’s representative serving the HVAC and plumbing markets with headquarters in Cockeysville, Md., and offices in Richmond, Va., and Pottstown, Pa., has announced that it is merging with Allison Sales and Marketing Inc., Kernersville, N.C.
The CIPHEX Roadshow, a plumbing, heating, hydronics (hot water) and water treatment expo taking place at the Delta Regina on Oct. 20, will feature a special informational session on the new and coming standards for lead in plumbing products.
The tough economy has led many contractors to hunker down, conserving resources and cutting expenses. Other contractors are taking the opposite approach, investing in their companies and expanding operations to include additional profit centers. While there are different ways an HVAC contractor can go, most look to plumbing or electrical as natural extensions.
