Uponor North America named Jon Sillerud as vice president of operations. Sillerud joined Uponor in September 2015, serving most recently as senior director, operations. In this new role, he will oversee manufacturing; maintenance; quality; process engineering; and real estate, security, and safety.

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announced that James M. Owendoff, who has served as a senior advisor to the assistant secretary in the office of Environmental Management (EM) since January 2010, has been named principal deputy assistant secretary in the office of Environmental Management.

On July 1, Danfoss welcomed Kim Fausing as its new president and CEO. Fausing, who for the past nine years has served as Danfoss’ chief operating officer, steps into the role after the planned departure of Niels B. Christiansen. In March of this year, Danfoss announced that Christiansen had decided to leave the company after nine years as CEO, and Fausing was appointed new CEO.
