June 23, 2005: Trane Opens New Parts Centers in North And Latin America

June 23, 2005
PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Trane has announced the opening of 14 new parts centers in North America and Latin America. Trane's newest parts centers are now open in the following cities:

  • Birmingham, Ala.

  • Cancun, Mexico

  • Daytona, Fla.

  • Elmsford, N.Y.

  • Grand Rapids, Mich.

  • Indianapolis

  • Jonesboro, Ala.

  • Little Rock, Ark.

  • Los Angeles

  • Manchester, N.H.

  • McKinney, Texas

  • Montgomery, Ala.

  • New Foundland, Nova Scotia

  • New London, Conn.

  • Ocala, Fla.

  • Port St. Lucie, Fla.

"Our customers continue to tell us that they don't want to travel more than 20 minutes to purchase Trane and non-Trane parts and want greater flexibility in how they purchase them," said David Coghlan, global parts leader for Trane. "In addition to opening new parts centers, we're making it easier for service technicians and building owners to purchase parts by expanding store hours, making online ordering available 24/7 through our ComfortSite ordering system, and providing an express order system ready to ship any stocked emergency repair order part the same day."

Trane's 178 parts centers in North America and Latin America offer a full line of Trane and non-Trane parts, including more than 100 of the most recognized wholesale parts and supply lines in the industry, says the company. Trane expects to open another 16 parts centers in North America, and add more than 12 new product lines in 2005, including PTACs, Klein Tools, SlimDuct, refrigerant monitors, Rydlyme, and Dwyer Instruments.
