CHANTILLY, Va. - The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association (SMACNA) College of Fellows has awarded three $2,000 scholarships for the 2004-2005 academic year.

The recipients are:

  • Ryan Corrigan, of St. Louis. He will attend the University of Missouri and study mechanical engineering. His father, Michael Corrigan, is employed by Lyon Sheet Metal Works Inc., St. Louis, a member of the SMACNA – St. Louis Chapter.

  • Nathan Graves, of Kokomo, Ind. He will attend Saint Joseph's College of Indiana. His father, William Graves, is employed by Graves Sheet Metal Company Inc., Kokomo, Ind., a member of the Fort Wayne Area Sheet Metal Contractors Association.

  • Laura Reardon, of Glenside, Pa. She will attend Saint Joseph's University of Philadelphia and study pre-law. Her father, William F. Reardon, CAE, is employed by the Sheet Metal Contractors' Association of Philadelphia and the Sheet Metal Contractors' Association of Northern New Jersey.

    SMACNA College of Fellows Scholarships are open to freshman and/or undergraduate college students whose parents are employed by SMACNA members, chapters, the national office, or associate members of SMACNA national. Criteria for selection include academic goals, academic achievement, and involvement in extracurricular and community activities. Since 1987, the College of Fellows has awarded close to $250,000 in scholarships to 50+ students.
