FlameChekâ„¢ Plus2 duct insulation is a nonceramic high-temperature insulation blanket that gives a two-hour fire rating in a single-layer application, says the company. It meets the requirements defined by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) for fire-rated grease ducts and is available in 20-foot rolls, in both 2-foot and 4-foot widths. The duct insulation is described in a four-page spec sheet that is in Construction Specification Institute (CSI) format.
