HumidiClean â„¢ Series HC-4000 electronic steam humidifiers use ionic bed technology. The ionic beds attract solids from the boiling water, preventing the solids from plating out on the heating element or on the inner stainless steel tank walls. Thus, tank cleaning is minimized and the effective service life of parts, especially the submersed elements, are greatly extended, the company states. The unit uses untreated tap, deionized, demineralized, softened, or reverse osmosis water. Series HC-5000 HumidiClean allows for remote monitoring and communication through various building management protocols, including BACnet and Modbus.
