The 90-degree register boot can hold standard and decorative 4- by 10-inch registers. The intake fittings are shipped to accept 6-inch diameter flexible or rigid ducting. Or, if 7-inch diameter flexible or rigid ducting is used in the project, then trim off the 6-inch collar, thereby creating a 7-inch intake. According to the manufacturer, it is constructed of blow-molded plastic, which creates a sealed unit, increasing the efficiency of the entire HVAC system when installed correctly.
