The EC Series Aquarius line of high-efficiency water-source heat pumps uses R-410A. The units are available in vertical configurations from 1/2 through 30 tons, horizontal configurations from 1/2 through 20 tons, and in counterflow configurations from 1/2 through 7 tons. All size units also are available as split units. The EC Series units, when equipped with the Extended Range option, are suitable for geothermal applications. According to the manufacturer, the units count toward certification under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System® program.
