The HST gas-fired radiant heater, a part of the Heat Star line, has a low clearance to combustibles of 4 inches above the heater, which allows the heater to be installed in areas that have low ceiling heights of 7 to 8 feet, the company says. According to the manufacturer, installation requires hanging the tube reflector assembly and then bolting on the burner control box. The heater is rated at 45,000 Btuh with an overall length of 10 feet and is approved for use in outdoor as well as indoor applications, says the company. Horizontal or angle mount allows for complete coverage, states the company. Available for use with natural gas or propane, these units are certified for commercial, residential, and industrial installations, the manufacturer says.
