The MP2™ sequencer is designed to maximize the performance of the Copper-Fin®, Copper-Fin II®, and Efficiency+® boilers. It provides up to nine on-off stages based on outdoor temperature, a setpoint requirement, or an external input signal. The sequencer employs indoor/outdoor rest to determine the rate of heat loss in a building and adjusts the heat supply accordingly. The sequencer uses PID logic for boiler control and has a boiler mass setting. According to the manufacturer, the MP2 protects boilers from excessive use with an equal runtime rotation, so that no one boiler in the system is called on more often than the others.
