OTTAWA - NAIMA Canada announced it has been approved for membership in the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP). The goal of the partnership is to expand the global market for renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable development through policy initiatives and the financing of innovative energy projects. NAIMA, and now NAIMA Canada's, involvement with the partnership underscores the focus and commitment both associations have to promoting global sustainable development and energy efficiency.
"Our REEEP membership is important and appropriate because it will allow us to advance policies that seek cleaner and more efficient energy practices," said Stephen Koch, executive director of NAIMA Canada. "We are excited to enter into this partnership, and look forward to turning ideas into action that pursue a healthier global environment."
