The WhisperFitâ„¢ U-Canâ„¢ (universal canister) contractor pack eases ceiling fan installation for contractors, the company says. The pack contains the canister for installation immediately after framing and the motor and fan assembly for installation at the final stages of construction. The canister installs with a double-hanger bar and clamp and is totally enclosed. It comes with a 4-inch ventilation duct and a 3-inch adapter. With a low-profile design, the unit has a built-in damper to prevent back draft. The canister accepts any one of four of the manufacturer's WhisperFit motor-grille assemblies ranging from 50 to 110 cfm.
