The VT Series electric humidifiers are designed for light commercial and residential applications. When softened water is used, the humidifiers can be maintenance-free for three or more years, says the company. According to the manufacturer, the advanced controller manages functions that include automatic water-level control and safety shutdown, rapid heat-up for a quick response to a call for humidity, duct airflow verification before operating, and periodic automatic draining. The display panel communicates humidifier status and includes an on-off switch. The humidifier accepts 0-10 VDC, 4-20 mA, and on-off input signals.
