TORONTO - In its second major acquisition in England this year, S.A. Armstrong has purchased the majority assets of Plant Energy Systems Limited, establishing a new company called Armstrong Integrated Systems Limited (AISL).

The new company specializes in off-site construction and the pre-assembly of building services equipment, from fully packaged HVAC and fire plant rooms to frame-mounted boiler systems.

"We are committed to growing our international capabilities, and this investment enables us to further strengthen our leading position in the UK," said Charles A. Armstrong, president of S.A. Armstrong Limited. "Armstrong is uniquely placed to offer the widest range of fluid-handling equipment and building service solutions in the industry."

According to S.A. Armstrong, those elements of the Armstrong Integrated Systems Limited systems range that are complementary to the Armstrong Holden Brooke Pullen (AHBP) range will be sold through the existing Armstrong Holden Brooke Pullen sales force.

Earlier in the year, Armstrong Pumps Limited acquired the assets of Howard Anderson Ltd., as well as the trading names Holden Brooke Pullen, Baric, and RMI. Armstrong Holden Brooke Pullen is located in Manchester, England.
