Jeff Hamstra poses with the Chevrolet Corvette he won as part of the 2004 Stars and Stripes promotion.
TUCSON, Ariz. - Jeff Hamstra, owner of Hamstra's Heating and Cooling (Tucson, Ariz.), won a 2005 Chevrolet Corvette in the 2004 "Stars and Stripes" promotion program sponsored by American Standard Heating and Air Conditioning (ASHAC).

The company has sold the American Standard brand for the past two years. Hamstra's name was drawn from more than 65,000 entries. As the first place winner, Hamstra had the choice between the Corvette and H2 Hummer.

"Thanks to their diligence and commitment, this group of dealers has made it the most successful program ever," said Joyce Warrington, American Standard national branch manager.

Other winners included Bruce Pollack of Batchelor Service, who won a vacation trip for two; Richard LaPoint of AMPM Air Conditioning, who won a Sony big-screen TV; and Jim Britt of Long's Heating, Air & Electric, who won a sports package.
