Asset Track asset management software is a part of the Track Pak product line. It is a computerized system comprising of software, hand-held computers, and bar codes to track the reception, storage, and transference of any type of assets. The system provides information on the status of assets and the location of each asset, eliminating manual paper tracking processes, while improving accuracy and productivity, the company states. It provides a way to account for the usage and location of assets through functions such as time and date stamping, bar code labels, and reports. A user database contains records for all authorized users of the program. The software uses five database areas - user, location, item, relationship, and transaction - to keep track of information.
