Series 400 stainless steel air purifier, rated for about 800 feet, has a diffuser lid that gently guides filtered air throughout the room, eliminating the drafty effect of one-directional airflow, says the company. It uses a two-speed sealed bearing motor blower to draw air into the large HEPA and carbon filter beds; the carbon filter bed removes chemicals and the HEPA filter is designed to remove particles down to 0.3 microns in size. The UV bulb disinfects the air that circulates through the system, rapidly reducing airborne bacteria, viruses, and allergens, which reduces the probability of human infection, says the company. Features include multistage filtration, top-loaded filter components, and wheels.
